Aimee Whitelaw joins Laura McCarthy after a 25-year career in PR, communications and fund raising and in politics including roles at the White House during the Gerald R. Ford, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush administrations.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Aimee attended Villa Duchesne, majored in art at Barat College and Lake Forest College and studied Art History at the Universita Italiana per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy. She has also lived and worked in Dallas, TX and in Washington, DC. Aimee is the mother of three grown children and the grandmother of three.
Aimee brings a wide range of talents including strong communication and problem solving skills with the ability to juggle multiple assignments in a fast paced environment which will serve her well in the practice of real estate. Detail oriented, she also has an eye for space planning and interior design.
Aimee has been active in the community serving on numerous boards including the Board of the Woman’s Exchange, The Service Bureau, The Humane Society of Missouri, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Actor’s Studio, Missouri Citizens for the Arts and Forsyth School. She also volunteers at the Sisters of Charity Soup Kitchen in north St. Louis.
She has a King Charles Spaniel named Sophie and enjoys reading, playing duplicate bridge, needlepointing and sewing for her granddaughters.
