I joined Laura McCarthy after staying home with my three sons for 15 years. Prior to having children, I worked for Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and Washington University. I live and work in Clayton where my three boys attend Glenridge Elementary, Wydown Middle, and Clayton High. In addition to being a Realtor, I am a wife, mother, a recreational athlete, and a die-hard cookie baker. I enjoy a good book, a good consignment furniture store and a good walk - often with my Goldendoodle, Lucy, in tow.
I believe that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. I value community, family, kindness, integrity, and humor - both personally and professionally - and promise to carefully listen to your objectives, work diligently to achieve your goals and never lose sight of your dreams.
Having bought and sold seven houses of my own in three different states, I believe in the joys of homeownership and renovation. I spent most of my childhood on the East Coast in Philadelphia and Rhode Island. After graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, my husband and I spent the early years of our marriage in St. Louis. When my husband changed careers, we went back east and spent 8 years in Bedford, New Hampshire and McLean, Virginia. Although I love the East Coast, I know firsthand the benefits of living in a family-friendly, low traffic city like St. Louis!
If you have questions about the real estate process or would like to get started, I would love to hear from you.
